This was the first home which I designed and had built for myself…which was a bit intimidating for me.
I knew that I needed a quality minded designer with exceptional taste to match the superior home I was building in a prestigious community. I met with Michelle and instantly felt comfortable with her personally and most importantly, her talent.
My project took a very long time due to the highly customized nature of selections and my requirements…all of which Michelle handled patiently and professionally. I never felt I was “asking too much”. If I had an idea, Michelle could usually make it a reality. She can easily transition from the modest to the most sublime of projects.
Now the most important part…Michelle is the most honest of business people you will ever meet. Whenever she could save some money for my project, she always attempted to “go to bat” for me. Many times, she would… unsolicited by me… obtain a discount (sometimes quite substantial sums) for merchandise and pass those savings along to me.

I had the great fortune of finding designer Michelle Castagna through friends who had used her for their stunning renovation a few years ago. Having renovated other homes, she was the first designer who instantly understood exactly what I wanted!
She is creative, efficient and knowledgeable to an impressive degree. Her personality and communication skills has made working with her easy and enjoyable.
On a personal note – due to unforeseen health issues I faced during this renovation, Michelle worked as an advocate on my behalf between me and my contractor. Her involvement relieved a tremendous amount of stress from my shoulders, keeping the project on course and in a timely fashion.

My husband and I admired Michelle’s work at our friend’s home. We decided to hire her for her creative eye, but received so much more. They say that a long distance relationship never works. We were building a new house in Florida while we were living in New Jersey. We had only four visits to meet with Michelle and the vendors. Michelle was so detailed and organized, our home was completed & furnished in one year!
Michelle spearheaded this project and kept us on track and we were in budget. More importantly, she really got to know us and our style. I bought a seven year old home in 2013 and hired Michelle Castagna to decorate. She was amazing with paint color selection for inside and out. Additionally she selected all the carpets and rugs immediately which transformed the home into a clean living space to decorate. The furniture and window treatments came quickly after to complete our beautiful interior. Her design, selection, and follow through were excellent. She listened to our needs and our home is comfortable but elegant. She has excellent taste and a great deal of experience . She offered a few options but we often went with her first choice. She supplied workmen and supervised all deliveries and installations including bathroom remodeling. She is fun, upbeat, accessible and follows through on her commitments. I would highly recommend her. She does beautiful work and is so great to work with!
