Taking a 130-year-old home down to the bones was quite the undertaking but we took it on with excitement for these special clients. The home is exquisite and breathtakingly blends a French European charm with contemporary modernity. We have created a harmonious convergence of past and present, effortlessly celebrating the essence of time and style. While taking inspiration from some older European aesthetics, we thoughtfully integrated modern elements like Ketra lighting technology and state-of-the-art appliances. The plans were modified in a significant way to create a more open-concept layout that meets the demands of modern-day living.
The outcome perfectly reflects the homeowners and became a timeless fusion of history and elegance. The clients have often expressed that the home brings them so much joy and peace in their everyday living.
This home, boasting over 7,000 Sq. Ft, presented us with fun challenges along the way as would be expected with a home of this age. We were thrilled to be a part of the architectural detailing process and to work side by side with all of the trades in addition to choosing all hard surfaces, furnishings, and decorative accents throughout.
